I wanted to finally show the towel cake I made for my (now) sister-in-law’s bridal shower. I did not show it when I made it because I didn’t want to spoil the surprise. And then things got crazy and I forgot. You know how that goes. “)
This was done in a casino theme to match the bridal shower theme. These things are very easy to put together. It double sources as both a centerpiece decoration and as a great gift. Once taken apart, this is actually two full sets of towels: 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, and two washcloths. (Bath towels on the bottom tier, hand towels and washcloths on the top tier.) The tag was made using my Gypsy and Cricut Expression. (Tag and dress were from the Tie the Knot cartridge, and lettering is from the Gypsy Font.) And, of course, to match, I had to make coordinating stuff to go along with it. The same theme as the tag carried over to the gift basket I made (not shown), and the card:

Once again the card and envelope were both cut using the Tie the Knot Cricut cartridge.
I also made the favors:
The treat in front is a white chocolate lollipop, and in back is a chocolate molded pretzel. These were done simply, using a thin white ribbon to attach a silver “ring” (found in any craft store) and a monogram tag which was once again cut with the Cricut and stamped with a red monogram to match the color scheme of the bride’s wedding.
