Well, I still have no surgery date scheduled. The tentative dates (8th and 9th) from before were canceled. Apparently, the surgeon who is taking care of my hernia is cooperating. Brian got in touch with the surgeon. The next available day for both doctors is either the 8th or 9th of July! Well, the good news is we got Brian’s parents pretty much moved in yesterday. The bad news is his mother ended up in the hospital this morning. A bit of background: Back in December, Brian’s mother kinda collapsed. His dad called 911, and then let Brian know they were on their way to the hospital
Brian’s parents have just gotten into the senior housing in our town! We have been waiting on this since December. They just signed the paperwork today, and got their keys and everything…and are located just shy of two miles away from our house. This takes a lot of stress off my husband’s mind. His mother
Yesterday I went to see the two doctors: the surgeon who will repair my hernia, and the urologist oncologist who will remove my adrenal gland and the mass on it. The oncologist and the surgeon will now be talking to each other to try to get the two surgeries to happen at the same time.
My son, Brian Jr. (or Buddy, as we all call him), had his Jr. High graduation today! The family gathered, and we had a party out on our deck. Unfortunately, because of my medical issues, I had to skip the graduation ceremony. Thank goodness for camcorders…I will get to still watch the ceremony, at least.
