Cancer Awareness: December

Once again, we have a month with no cancer to call it’s own. But, not every cancer has a month assigned to it, especially when it is a lesser known cancer, one that is so rare not many have heard of it.

Therefore, for this month, please think about all of the other cancers out there, ones that I have not highlighted. As I say all the time, we cannot give pink all the attention. Yes, breast cancer awareness IS important, but there are so many rare cancers with a much poorer prognosis, because doctors don’t know enough about them…yet. I hope the day comes soon where every cancer type has a true cure, and not just a temporary band-aid fix.

As always, know your bodies!
