Crafting For Relay 2014

Another year, another Relay For Life (of Bethlehem, PA). I want to get a head start on crafting for the day of event. A really really early head start. My kids have already started their team for the year and are well on the way towards goal. I do all sorts of craft items for the event: our team shirts, jewelry, buttons, etc. It seems though, in previous years, the buttons fell by the wayside. I hope to change that this year. I will once again offer custom buttons. Here are some examples:

 

These are my “Teal…It’s the new Pink!” buttons to promote ovarian cancer awareness. They will, of course, be sold at the event. But, I can do buttons on demand, as I have a button maker that does two sizes: standard 2 1/4″ and smaller 1″ round buttons.

Some ideas for these might be for a Team Name, so all team members at the even can be wearing something to represent their team. Other ideas could be if a person wants a pin representing their type of cancer, or even a pin with a photo on it saying “I relay for…”. The possibilities are endless.

Pricing is as follows:

• 2 1/4″ buttons are $1 each (includes text and simple icons or graphics). ($2 each for photos on the buttons)
• 1″ buttons are 50 cents each (includes text and simple icons or graphics). ($1 each for photos on the buttons)

Larger orders, such as those for team buttons, are highly suggested to be done in advance of the event. I will take requests on the day of event, however, as I will have a portable printer and button making supplies on hand.

More Relay crafts will be posted throughout the year leading up to the event.
