Family updates

This time I can update on others besides me! But I guess I can start with my stuff. I am still recovering, 2 weeks after surgery. They left the wounds open, as there were infection issues going on. It’s exhausting, really, to still have to tend the wounds myself. I still have whatever cold this is 2 weeks later, which is bad because I really want to get my flu shot done and over with. Luckily my insurance covers Wal-mart and other such places to get shots. (My mom and dad got theirs at Wal-mart just before my surgery.)

Sierra: she has been experiencing pain lately…pain that was oddly similar to my own pain issues with Fibromyalgia. I brought her to the doctor, as she was due for her annual exam, anyhow. The doctor seems to agree with my thoughts on this, and she most likely has juvenile Fibro. Of course, she needs to have everything else ruled out first, so bloodwork comes first followed by a future trip to a rheumatologist. It is frustrating, as this is one of quite a few things she has inherited from me (i.e. migraines, lactose intolerance, etc.) To top things off, she got her flu shot (along with Kenzie, who was also getting physical.)

Buddy: He got a job! It all happened so fast, and we barely had time to get his documents together. He is working weekends at Dorney Park as a zombie during the Haunt. It is ironic that he gets paid to do what he loves: act! Now that we found his birth certificate, the next step is going to get his driving permit.

Ah well, off to pick up my copy of The Lion King…the trilogy pack! 😀
