Mesothelioma Awareness Day

I have used my blog not only to tell my story, but also keep the lines open for others to share their journey.

Cameron Von St. James shared his caregiver story in January (see original post here: http://www.tlkpride.org/knarrlysblog/holding-on-to-hope-as-a-caregiver/). Cameron’s wife, Heather, is a Mesothelioma survivor. I also posted an update story for Heather, regarding her video work with mesothelioma.com.

This Thursday, September 26th, is Mesothelioma Awareness Day. Please help by spreading the word. Find out more information here: www.mesothelioma.com/heather/awareness

Next month we will be flooded with pink. Let’s give the other cancer types their attention and voice!

I am a married mother of 3 kids who is a self-proclaimed Lion King fanatic! I am obsessed with crafting, and anything Coca-Cola. I am also a survivor of both ovarian and endometrial cancers (plus breast and colon pre-cancers), and pay it forward by volunteering for Relay for Life and The American Cancer Society.
