Well, my MIL is still hanging in. They should have, if not already, switched over to comfort care rather than trying to fix things. Her kidneys started failing last I heard. The doctors said she is having a steady moderate loss of blood, and her blood pressure is very low. But, they said she might still last a few more days. But, they said she will not pull out of it this time. She refused life support measures, so it’s mainly a waiting game now. I hate to say I hope this gets over with quickly, if only to put her out of her misery.
In preparation, my FIL made arrangements with a local funeral home. Hopefully doing this in advance will ease a bit of the stuff that has to be done after the fact.
Thank you to everyone praying for my family during this time!
