A couple of changes. First of all, I added an ovarian cancer awareness page to the blog, accessible from the menu. This was an important project for me, considering my own diagnosis. Besides telling my own story and offering awareness through that, I wanted to touch on things like symptoms and statistics, as well as other general information. As I mention on that page, if I can get even one person to see the signs and symptoms and catch it early because they see that page, I feel as if this blog has done something.
The other change is cosmetic. I was getting a bit bored with the menu, and wanted something a little more fitting with my site logo. The menu text was replaced with image based options with a hover effect. The coding drove me crazy because WordPress is a bit tricky to alter, but it is done. I apologize if while I was working on it the menu was crazy while I was experimenting. 🙂
